WARRANTY – FRAMEPORT PINE WOOD DOORS

FRAMEPORT pine wood doors (slabs and bifolds) are designed to offer durability and value to your home.


What is Covered by This Warranty

We warrant to the original first owner that FRAMEPORT products are free from material or manufacturing defects as described below, valid from the date of manufacture.

If a FRAMEPORT slab or bifold door is found to be defective, we may, at our discretion, repair the product, replace it, or refund the purchase price.

FRAMEPORT Pine Wood Slab and Bifold Doors:

  • 5-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects from the manufacturing date printed on the top edge of the product.

Factory Finish on FRAMEPORT Pine Wood Doors:

  • 1-year warranty from the date of initial purchase.

  • If a defect is confirmed, we will refinish the door or pay up to US$ 100.00 to the current owner.

Transferability:
This warranty is non-transferable.

Important: For faster service, please provide:
a) Date and place of purchase
b) Contact information
c) Address where the product can be inspected
d) Description of the issue and the product
e) Photos, especially of the top edge of the door (where the manufacturing date is located)


What We Will Do

After receiving your notice:

  • We will send a confirmation within 3 business days.

  • We will investigate the request and begin appropriate action within 30 days.

If the issue is not covered by the warranty, we may charge an inspection fee.

If a defect is confirmed, we will:

  • Repair or replace the product with one of the same original specifications

  • Replacements will carry the remaining warranty of the original product or 90 days, whichever is longer

  • If repair or replacement is not possible, we will issue a refund

In the case of slab door warping, we may wait up to 12 months before deciding on replacement, as the condition may be temporary.


What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

FRAMEPORT only manufactures and sells slab and bifold doors. This warranty does not cover:

  • Components not supplied by FRAMEPORT (locks, handles, etc.)

  • Normal wear and tear, or natural variation in wood color or texture

  • Misuse, abuse, or lack of maintenance

  • Improper finishing done outside the factory

  • Warping of less than 1/4" (6.35 mm)

  • Doors larger than 1067 mm x 2450 mm (3'6" x 8'0")

  • Misalignment or warping of the frame where the door was installed

  • Structural failure of wood due to direct ground contact

  • Surface mold/mildew (not an indication of structural failure)

  • Water or air infiltration due to improper installation

  • Problems with hardware or improper system assembly

  • Installations that do not meet product or technical standards

  • Labor costs, removal, disposal, reinstallation, or finishing of replaced products


Important Legal Information

This warranty sets the maximum limit of FRAMEPORT’s liability.

We are not responsible for any special, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

No distributor or representative of FRAMEPORT is authorized to alter this warranty.

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser (distributor, contractor, or first property owner where the door was installed) and is non-transferable.

 

By purchasing this product, the original buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms of this warranty and agrees to pass it on to the property owner where the product was installed.
