Signs and Symptoms:

  • Acute: Eye and respiratory irritation, dry nose, coughing, sneezing

  • Chronic: Dermatitis, respiratory sensitization, prolonged irritation. Not classified as carcinogenic by IARC, NTP, or OSHA.

  • Sweep or vacuum spilled material, avoiding dust generation

  • Store away from ignition sources

  • Ensure proper local and general ventilation

  • Dispose of in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations

Wood Specifications (Pine)

Species Used:

Pinus Taeda (Loblolly Pine)

  • Native to the U.S., fast-growing tree, straight trunk, strong wood

  • Seeds consumed by birds and rodents

  • Grows up to 30 meters tall

Pinus Elliottii (Slash Pine)

  • Major commercial species in the southeastern U.S.

  • Also used for resin extraction (rosin and turpentine)

  • Dense and durable wood
